‘Owbeon is delighted to welcome “Second Soprano” to the stage of the Little Theatre on Sunday 10 July at 7.00. This “little gem of a show” has been very successful in London, earning 5-star reviews and is now touring. It is a poignant tale presented by two women who play a multitude of characters. Set in 1914 it tells the story of two sisters torn apart by historic events and of the nurses and entertainers who served in World War 1. The show runs for an hour which is packed with highly inventive movement, music and sound as well as language to tell a tragic-comic story. The actors will take a Question and Answer session in the theatre bar after the performance.
